This custom gate and fence installation in HOLYWOOD delivered a secure commercial gate solution for a tight alley opening, combining welded fabrication with coordinated metal fence panels for a clean, modern steel/wrought iron look. A “custom gate and fence installation” is the designed-and-built process of fabricating, setting, and finishing gates and fencing to fit a specific property, opening, and security need.
The project features an 8-foot-high automatic gate system configured as paired gate leaves that open against each other to solve clearance constraints common in alley gate and driveway gate applications. Each leaf was built with a heavy-gauge 2"x2" square-tube steel frame and 1"x1" vertical square-tube pickets, with punch-top detailing to discourage climbing and trespassing. Matching fence panels and posts/columns were installed to create a continuous perimeter line and consistent infill spacing.
Custom gate operators were installed to power the automatic gate, integrating with access control needs for commercial traffic. Hinges and latch/locking hardware were set for reliable alignment and smooth operation. All steel components received a black powder coat finish for durability and a uniform appearance across the pedestrian gate area, alley gate span, and adjacent metal fence runs.
