At Mission, we completed a custom gate and fence project designed to add privacy, security, and a clean modern edge to the property’s landscaped courtyard and side access. A custom gate and fence installation is “a site-built perimeter system where the gate(s) and fence are designed, fabricated, and set to fit the exact opening, grades, and security needs.”
The new fence line features a contemporary vertical-board style with crisp, level reveals and stepped transitions to follow the slope. Fence panels were built with reinforced posts/columns anchored along the retaining wall and returns at corners for stiffness and long-term alignment. Openings were planned for a pedestrian gate and alley gate/driveway gate options, with hardware locations laid out for heavy-duty hinges and a secure latch set.
While the visible work is a wood privacy fence, the layout is compatible with commercial gate requirements and can be upgraded with steel/wrought iron elements, welded fabrication frames, and a durable powder coat finish where higher impact resistance is needed. The system is automation-ready for an automatic gate and future access control (keypad, intercom, or card reader), with space reserved for gate leaves, clearances, and safety devices.
