Method Doors & Gates Project
Project Story
This page combines the project description, planning sketch, and completed project imagery in a search-friendly layout.
At Mulholland Dr., we completed a custom gate and fence package focused on clean, Mediterranean-inspired privacy and secure access. “A custom gate and fence installation is the made-to-measure design, fabrication, and on-site fitting of gates and fencing for security, privacy, and curb appeal.”
The project includes a coordinated driveway gate system with two pairs of hinged gate leaves styled as vertical-board panels, plus a matching pedestrian gate at the side entry. Each gate is built around a welded fabrication metal frame for strength, with smooth pickets/infill panels that read like wood but perform like steel/wrought iron. Heavy-duty hinges were precisely set for tight reveal lines and reliable swing, and hardware was upgraded with a simple latch/lock provision and decorative ring pulls. New posts/columns were anchored and aligned to maintain consistent gaps and ensure long-term stability.
All components were prepped and finished in a durable powder coat finish in a soft sage tone to complement the façade, improving corrosion resistance and UV stability. The system is automation-ready, leaving space for an automatic gate operator/motor and future access control such as keypad, intercom, or remote entry, while maintaining clearance for safe, unobstructed movement.
“Quiet, solid swings with crisp alignment and premium hardware.” “Privacy-forward design that matches the home’s character.”
